Obsidian for local-first notes without plugin overload

A restrained setup built around plain Markdown, four core plugins, and a folder structure you can still understand later.

My rule is that every plugin must solve a recurring friction I can name. That keeps the vault usable on a fresh machine and prevents the setup from becoming a second job.

The rest is for members.

The named-friction rule is excellent. I use a similar test: would I notice this plugin was missing during a normal writing session?
